Ruika Yokoyama

Ruika Yokoyama began her training in Niigata, Japan. At 15, she moved to Portugal to study at the Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional. At 18, Nina Ananiashvili invited her to join the State Ballet of Georgia. By age 20, she was promoted to Soloist and soon after to Principal Dancer. In 2024, Ruika co-founded INTO DANCE, organising global galas and auditions to create opportunities for the next generation. Following two years of freelancing, she joined the Thüringer Staatsballett in Germany, directed by Vitaly Petrov, as a Principal Dancer in 2025.

新潟県でバレエを始め、15歳でポルトガル国立コンセルヴァトワールへ留学。18歳でニーナ・アナニアシヴィリ率いるジョージア国立バレエ団に入団し、20歳でプリンシパルに昇進。2024年には、次世代のダンサーを支援する「INTO DANCE」を共同設立。2年間のフリーランスの活動を経て、2025年よりドイツのテューリンゲン州立バレエ団にプリンシパルとして入団。
